Shanghai Shenhua's goalkeeper, Bao Yaxiong, has been selected for the second consecutive month, making him the worthy recipient of this accolade. During the selection process, Bao received 12 first-place votes from the media jury, ultimately accumulating a total of 92 points to clinch the title.

In June's league matches, Shanghai Shenhua secured two victories and one draw, remaining unbeaten. Throughout these three games, their opponents managed to test their defense with 11 shots on target. Remarkably, Bao Yaxiong successfully saved 10 out of those 11 shots, conceding only one goal. His outstanding save percentage stands at an impressive 90.91%, the highest among all goalkeepers who played at least 3 matches in this stage.

It is worth noting that Bao Yaxiong had also won the Best Goalkeeper award for May in the Chinese Super League. In that month, he only conceded one goal in 5 league matches, resulting in an 85.17% save success rate.
